Role summary
As a Reservation & Ticketing Staff member for Airlines GSA, you will be responsible for providing efficient reservation and ticketing services to travel agents, corporate customers, and passengers. You will ensure all reservations and ticketing transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with respective Airlines and company policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations in accordance with Airlines policies
- Process reservations and ticketing transactions using Airline Reservation Systems
- Provide accurate fare quotations, itinerary planning, and information on fare rules, baggage policies, and travel requirements
- Assist travel agents, corporate clients, and passengers with reservation and ticketing enquiries
- Manage booking queues and ensure timely follow-up on pending reservations and ticketing requests
- Handle schedule changes, flight disruptions, involuntary rerouting, and passenger re-accommodation
- Ensure compliance with airline procedures and internal operating standards
- Coordinate with Sales, Airport Operations, Customer Service, and Airlines Regional Office for seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate reservation and ticketing records and prepare operational reports as required
- Support promotional campaigns, special fares, group bookings, and corporate travel requirements
- Resolve ticketing-related issues professionally while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Keep updated on airline schedules, fare products, travel regulations, and service enhancements
- Proper reporting of ticket sales into Almosafer Auditing and reporting System
- Work under directives of the GSA department and Principal Airlines assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in airline or GSA reservation and ticketing
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS; Galileo or Sabre knowledge is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of airline fares, procedures, and reservation systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an added advantage
Education
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, Business Administration, or related discipline
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in airline or GSA reservation and ticketing
