Role summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst passionate about independently driving IT initiatives from early ideation through to successful closure. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can coordinate across business and IT teams, keep initiatives visible and on track, and support strong governance practices with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage assigned IT initiatives end-to-end from early ideation and scoping through to closure, ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Act as a key point of coordination between business units and IT teams, ensuring new requests and evolving needs are clearly understood and aligned
- Support the justification and business-case development for new IT initiatives, and help track the realization of expected benefits after delivery
- Maintain a working understanding of enterprise architecture principles to ensure IT initiatives are planned and executed in line with the broader technology landscape
- Contribute to prioritizing initiatives based on business value, helping delivery teams plan capacity and resources effectively
- Track the progress of initiatives, milestones and deliverables across IT teams to ensure they stay within agreed time, budget and scope
- Build and maintain dashboards and trackers offering clear visibility into the status of ongoing and upcoming initiatives, pipelines and capacity utilization
- Prepare and share regular, well-structured status updates with stakeholders to keep them informed and aligned with organizational objectives
- Manage IT audits end-to-end, coordinating with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate documentation and closure of findings
- Prepare and deliver clear, well-structured presentations for various audiences, ranging from working teams to senior stakeholders
- Take on other relevant tasks as required and requested by the leadership to support business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably computer science, information systems or business administration
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated ability to manage initiatives independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong, hands-on ability to build compelling slide decks and presentations from scratch
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Excel dashboards and trackers
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging both IT and business audiences
- Proactive, organized and detail-oriented approach to tracking multiple initiatives at once
- Willingness to travel if required, approximately 10% of the time
Education
Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably computer science, information systems or business administration
