Role summary
The Process Excellence Manager at Aramex is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role focuses on analyzing processes, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes to optimize performance
- Drive the implementation of cost optimization projects in line with local country management agenda and global strategic direction
- Influence and collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to drive project execution including Kaizens and A3 projects
- Develop tools that support mapping, analysis, and optimization of business processes
- Conduct thorough quality audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards
- Perform root cause analysis and investigations on process challenges raised by local country management that directly affect daily operations and overall business
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies across departments
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to promote process excellence principles
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process changes through defined KPIs and report outcomes
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, standards, and best practices
- Propose and highlight key projects and Kaizens that could be replicated across the network
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related roles
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, project management, and quality assurance within a dynamic operational environment
- Demonstrated experience in the logistics or transportation management industry is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Manyard Operational Sequence Technique and other time and motion studies is a plus
