A Family Medicine Registrar provides comprehensive primary healthcare to individuals and families across all ages, both in-person and through telemedicine. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations and in-person consultations via thorough patient history and physical examinations with patients experiencing family medicine and general medicine complaints
- Provide healthcare to all family medicine target population across age and gender
- Provide chronic diseases and preventive care consultations and follow-up to patients as per clinical guidelines
- Utilize video conferencing platforms to assess patient symptoms, review medical history, and perform virtual examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing patient education
- Deliver high-quality medical consultations to patients
- Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual appointments and conduct in-person assessments as needed
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, referrals to specialists, and lifestyle modifications
- Oversee ongoing care for chronic and acute conditions
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care
- Practice population health management by identifying and addressing health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education and awareness
- Document findings and treatment plans meticulously in patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and concise explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care

- Actively participate in training programs and stay updated on platform enhancements and best practices
- Collaborate with IT support to troubleshoot any technical issues
- Maintain compliance with all patient safety standards and ensure patient safety across all clinical interactions
- Report any patient safety risks or issues to the appropriate staff in quality department
- Practice safe medicine to ensure no patient harm
- Explain medications possible side effects and proper use
- Maintain satisfactory patient consultations through communication, taking complete history, providing empathy and understanding of patient conditions and circumstances, explanation of diagnosis and proposed management plan and answering patient queries
- Monitor patient feedback and address concerns promptly
