Role summary
Cisco Advisory seeks a senior management consultant who will serve as a technology strategist supporting customers in achieving greater business value from technology. Services range from digitization strategy development to operating model design, assisting clients in aligning business and technology agendas and identifying areas where innovation drives business value.
Responsibilities
- Work as a trusted advisor alongside senior customers to identify relevant market trends and discover opportunities for technology to create new business value
- Develop or validate technology strategies, supporting business cases, and define required transformation programmes
- Build or enhance operating models catering for effective technology governance and alignment between business and technology
- Lead work to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the technology organization, covering processes, tools and people, including introduction of orchestration and automation
- Develop technology reference architectures, service portfolios, and contribute to associated product development
- Compose and perform technology benchmarking and develop cost optimization strategies and action plans, including service and application rationalization
- Develop and evangelize innovative points of view on how digital technologies will transform business conduct
- Act as an entrepreneur, including challenging traditional viewpoints at the client C-level
- Actively work to identify and develop new business opportunities for Cisco through advisory
Qualifications
- Master's degree with distinguished academic record, or bachelor's degree complemented by 10+ years relevant professional experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within management consultancy plus 5+ years in a senior role at a technology-driven service delivery organization
- Demonstrated experience navigating diverse segments, including Enterprise, Government, and Service Provider sectors
- Subject matter expertise in high-impact technologies, such as Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, or Digital Government initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in agile delivery methodologies and IT Service Management, IoT, AI, and other technology trends
- Fluent Arabic is required
