Role summary
The MCC Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of aircraft. Responsibilities include monitoring the technical status of aircraft, coordinating maintenance activities with field teams and engineers, and providing prompt solutions to technical issues to ensure flight safety and adherence to schedules.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the Aircraft Health Monitoring System (Skywise) for existing and repetitive defects
- Raise Maintenance Action Requests for troubleshooting and defect rectification
- Coordinate with MCC Controller, Line Planning, Line Maintenance and Contracted Maintenance Organisation for defect troubleshooting planning
- Coordinate with AOG Desk and Material Planning for required materials availability
- Coordinate with Engineering and OEM for technical instructions when procedures are inadequate
- Review MEL, CDL and Time Limited Defects daily
- Review Deferred Defects and NEFs on alternate days
- Identify relevant TSM and raise MAR or use open Work Order
- Follow and monitor maintenance actions on aircraft via Skywise to confirm defect clearance
- Provide feedback to Engineering on recurrent or repetitive defects and system failures
- Assist in preparing Daily Aircraft Status Reports
- Attend Daily Meetings to provide Aircraft Status to all stakeholders
- Assist in analysing aircraft delays and compiling Delay Reports
- Maintain records of aircraft delays and compile Monthly Technical Dispatch Reliability Reports
- Maintain aircraft at agreed deferred defect levels
- Prepare, review and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Maintain constant and precise communication with IOCC regarding operational status
- Provide timely status updates on delays and AOGs to stakeholders and management
- Identify process gaps and present improvement ideas and procedures
- Continuously evaluate and propose enhancements to optimize department operations
Qualifications
- Type rating license on A320/CFM56+LEAP1A
- Minimum Level 3 Airbus A320/CFM56+LEAP 1A Training
- Minimum seven years of aircraft certification experience
- At least five years on A320 fleet
- At least three years of MCC experience
- Extensive Knowledge of A320 Aircraft Systems
- Advance Level Knowledge of GACA Regulations
- Well versed with Airnavx, Airman and standard MS office suite
