Role summary
The System Integration Specialist – AMOS is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all system interfaces between AMOS and enterprise platforms across the airline. The role ensures seamless data flow, technical interoperability, integration governance, and system reliability across Engineering, CAMO, MRO, Finance, Supply Chain, Flight Operations, OEM platforms, and digital records systems. This position plays a key role in flyadeal's digital transformation by optimizing workflows, enabling real-time data exchange, supporting upgrades, and ensuring AMOS remains a fully integrated, audit-compliant, and operationally robust platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain interfaces between AMOS and AIMS, Finance (MSD), Materials, HR, Planning, eTLB, BI tools, OEM portals, Digital Records Platforms, and third-party systems
- Implement system-to-system data exchange architecture using AMOS APIs, ETL tools, or middleware solutions
- Ensure compliance with AMOS standards and Swiss-AS integration guidelines
- Maintain interface documentation, integration maps, data dictionaries, and system schematics
- Manage configuration, mapping, and validation of inbound and outbound data feeds
- Ensure synchronization and consistency of maintenance records, inventory, tech logs, component status, and reliability data
- Conduct reconciliation, verification, and troubleshooting during integration cycles
- Embed integration risk controls and monitor system health to prevent data loss or corruption
- Lead integration workstreams during system enhancements, new module deployments, and upgrades
- Plan and execute UAT, regression testing, interface validation, and performance testing
- Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-release stabilization
- Identify system anomalies and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering, IT, and Swiss-AS
- Support transition from paper-based processes to digital MRO workflows (electronic task cards, digital signatures, AMOSmobile)
- Align MRO–CAMO–AMOS ecosystem for real-time updates and compliance tracking
- Identify automation opportunities, event-driven triggers, and integration efficiency improvements
- Act as technical liaison with Swiss-AS, ERP vendors, BI teams, and OEM digital partners
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for interface errors and synchronization failures
- Ensure integrations meet safety, airworthiness, cybersecurity, and data governance standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing logs, data trails, and configuration evidence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Aviation Engineering, or related field
- Certifications or training in API development, ETL tools, or integration middleware preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in AMOS administration, integration engineering, or enterprise system integration within an airline or MRO environment
- Hands-on experience with AMOS interfaces, ERP integration, and ETL tools
- Experience supporting system upgrades, UAT cycles, and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong SQL, scripting, and data transformation capabilities
- Knowledge of AMOS modules, data structures, and integration architecture
- Experience with APIs, ETL platforms, Java or scripting languages
- Understanding of MRO, CAMO, and maintenance engineering processes
- Familiarity with digital MRO practices and workflow automation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a project-driven environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Education
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Aviation Engineering, or related field
Experience
3–6 years of experience in AMOS administration, integration engineering, or enterprise system integration within an airline or MRO environment
