Role summary
Coordinate with the Contracted Service Provider to obtain and review the Maintenance Due List regularly. Identify maintenance tasks that must be accomplished based on due dates. Coordinate with Line Planners to allocate work for respective stations. Coordinate with Contracted Service Provider for creation and issuance of work packages for planned maintenance work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Contracted Service Provider to obtain and review Maintenance Due List regularly
- Identify maintenance tasks requiring accomplishment based on due dates
- Coordinate with Line Planners to allocate work to respective stations
- Coordinate with Contracted Service Provider for creation and issuance of work packages for planned maintenance
- Coordinate with Contracted Maintenance Organisation Planning Team for maintenance scheduling and resource/spares/materials/tooling/equipment availability
- Prepare and issue bi-weekly maintenance plan to all stakeholders
- Prepare and issue three-month maintenance plan including A checks, Borescope Inspections, RAT Tests, and other Single Running Tasks
- Review and re-issue maintenance plans based on actual performance of checks
- Coordinate with Aircraft Scheduling Team for aircraft availability on ground for maintenance activities
- Coordinate with MCC Controller for troubleshooting and rectification action for MEL and other open defects
- Coordinate with MCC Defect Controller for Maintenance Action Requests to troubleshoot and rectify defects reported in Skywise system
- Coordinate with Material Planner for availability of Spares and Materials required
- Closely follow up execution of all planned maintenance to ensure timely aircraft release to service
- Establish working process with CMO to ensure all completed aircraft paperwork is controlled and handed over to FAD Line Planners immediately after aircraft release
- Ensure process is in place for reviewing and correcting all discrepancies in aircraft paperwork before handing over to Technical Records
- Ensure all completed work packages are reported to Contracted Service Provider for MIS system update
- Coordinate with Technical Records Supervisor to ensure MIS is updated for defects reported and rectified, component changes and other flight data
- Coordinate with Quality Inspector and Technical Records in COA renewal process
- Closely coordinate between MCC and CMO in case of aircraft delays
- Prepare and issue delay reports for late release from maintenance
- Prepare Roster for Line Planners to ensure coverage during planned and unplanned maintenance events
- Monitor performance of Line Planner and conduct performance appraisals
- Identify training needs for Line Planners and coordinate with Planning Manager for arranging required training
- Communicate with Contracted Service Provider for Maintenance Due Lists and related Work Packages for planned maintenance
- Communicate with FAD MCC for rectifications of MEL and other open defects
- Communicate with Material Planning for spares, materials and tools
- Communicate with Contracted Maintenance Organisation for work planning and execution
- Communicate with Engineering on maintenance program and EO issuances
- Communicate with Aircraft Scheduling Team for maintenance slots
- Review and propose enhancements to existing processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or Technical Diploma
- Five years' experience in a similar role in aircraft maintenance environment
- Experience using different functions of Maintenance Information System
- Good knowledge of GACA Regulations
- Good knowledge of Aircraft Manufacturer's Manuals and other documentation
