Role summary
Responsible for supervising and controlling MCC operations and performance to centralize control and coordination of all Maintenance activities on the FAD fleet, part of the Integrated Operations Control Centre.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance on FAD Fleet complies with approved documentation
- Ensure MCC provides technical expertise advising maintenance teams on technical issues
- Ensure MCC monitors all maintenance activities performance and coordinates aircraft release timely
- Follow established communication processes with all airline stakeholders
- Monitor all aircraft technical delays and coordinate with OCC, Planning, Scheduling
- Effectively coordinate with relevant stakeholders for earliest aircraft operation return
- Ensure sound and timely technical advice is provided to dispatchers and crews
- Ensure all aircraft defects are closely monitored with corrective actions taken
- Ensure staff monitors Aircraft Health Monitoring System and takes appropriate remedial action
- Allocate staff to identify and track repetitive aircraft defects until rectified
- Exercise technical oversight over FAD Fleet by reviewing defects and rectification actions
- Investigate aircraft delays and cancellations to identify contributory factors
- Coordinate with Material Planner and AOG Desk for timely spare availability
- Coordinate with FAD Line Planning Team for defect planning and rectification
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or other technical field
- Valid Airframe/power plant or avionics license
- Management or Supervisory Experience required
- Minimum 10+ years aviation industry experience including 5 years in MCC role
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, defect troubleshooting and rectification actions
- Good knowledge of Aircraft Manufacturer's Manuals usage
- Ability to use Maintenance Information System and write technical reports
Education
BS Degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or other technical field
Experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience in aviation industry out of which 5 years in MCC role
