Role summary
Ground Safety Specialist supports implementation of the Safety Management System across Ground Operations and Maintenance & Engineering. Monitors safety reports, incident investigations, operational data analysis, hazard identification, and compliance activities. Works closely with Ground Operations and M&E teams to foster proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review safety reports and operational data related to Ground Operations and M&E
- Support implementation and ongoing improvement of Safety Management System
- Assist with preliminary investigations into ground-related safety incidents
- Support root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective actions
- Coordinate with Ground Operations and M&E teams on safety reporting and follow-up
- Assist in developing and delivering safety briefings and awareness sessions
- Support compliance monitoring against applicable safety and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to safety promotion initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aviation safety, Ground Operations, or Maintenance & Engineering
- Fresh graduates with relevant aviation or engineering qualifications may be considered
- SMS certification preferred
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Strong interest in aviation safety and operational risk management
Education
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in aviation safety, Ground Operations, or Maintenance & Engineering; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may be considered
