Role summary
The Quality Control Officer ensures compliance with flyadeal standards and GACA regulations within Maintenance and Engineering departments. This role involves surveillance, auditing documentation, managing discrepancies, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to maintain operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc surveillance of Maintenance and Engineering department activities
- Ensure compliance with flyadeal standards and GACA regulations
- Monitor proper usage, tagging, calibration, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials
- Verify adherence to safety and environmental standards across operational activities
- Audit technical records including work orders, defect logs, maintenance logs, and material certifications
- Validate accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation with regulatory and flyadeal standards
- Identify, document, and log non-conformities and discrepancies in AMOS
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Track and analyze trends in findings to recommend systemic improvements
- Partner with internal teams to implement process improvements and reduce recurring issues
- Prepare detailed quality control reports for submission to the Senior Manager
- Share findings and recommendations with stakeholders to enhance operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in aviation maintenance or 5 years in aviation maintenance quality
- Bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field or equivalent
- Proficiency in aviation regulations including GACA, EASA, or FAA standards
- Expertise in AMOS or similar maintenance software
- Strong data analysis skills for identifying trends and improving processes
- Excellent attention to detail

Education
Bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field or equivalent
Experience
