Role summary
Monitor, oversee and evaluate airworthiness and maintenance management practices internally and with contracted maintenance providers to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with GACAR and flyadeal GMM. Evaluate quality of maintenance for contracted remote Line/base Maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, oversee and evaluate airworthiness and maintenance management practices with contracted maintenance providers for quality, completeness and compliance
- Evaluate quality of all maintenance activities of contracted services for remote Line/base Maintenance
- Conduct inspections and evaluations to determine eligibility and proficiency of external maintenance providers to flyadeal standards
- Compile Quality Summaries and coordinate inputs for submission
- Provide guidance and instruction to employees on technical inspection, airworthiness matters, maintenance documentation and hazardous materials
- Ensure assigned personnel have access to and use proper technical data during inspection and airworthiness duties
- Oversee coordination of proposed changes and revisions to local publications, policies, procedures, task cards, checklists and work instructions
- Influence company culture through action, presence and integrity
- Share responsibility of operational control for RII Program, Quality Control Inspection and Receiving Inspection
- Participate in initiating and approving changes to associated processes
- Participate in laying out inspection standards, methods and procedures per GACA regulations
- Ensure all inspections are performed on completed work before service release
- Oversee and monitor procedures for all incoming material including new parts and supplies
- Ensure Service Provider Personnel are properly trained, qualified and authorized for RII procedures
- Oversee and monitor process of determining serviceability of aircraft, engines, parts and components
- Assure overall quality of maintenance log and recording requirements process
- Review, revise new and revised policies and procedures related to inspection
- Participate in analysing inspection program effectiveness and appropriate standards compliance
- Ensure all inspection tools and measuring equipment are calibrated with proper records maintenance
- Assist in reviewing, evaluating, modifying and approving RII list based on CASS inputs
- Ensure aircraft and components are maintained by trained and qualified technicians and inspectors
Qualifications
- F.A.A/GACA Airframe and Powerplant License required
- Experience in low-cost airlines highly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft technical documentation
- Legal and regulatory airworthiness awareness
- Working knowledge of AMOS customer processes, products and services
- Capable to handle pressure and stress from operations
- Ability to take direction from superiors and act as team player
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Exercise good judgment and decision making where necessary
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Good analytical and decision-making skills

Experience
Minimum 7 years experience as LM technician or 3 years as QC inspector maintaining aircraft in same category and class as flyadeal
