Role summary
JASARA PMC is looking for a talented and motivated Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will facilitate the design process across various projects, ensuring effective communication between the design team and project stakeholders. You will play an essential part in maintaining project quality and timeline through diligent coordination and management of design documents.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate design activities for multiple projects and assist in meeting project deadlines
- Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals
- Review and track design documents, drawings, and specifications
- Organize and facilitate design meetings, preparing agendas and minutes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for design projects
- Assist in resolving design-related issues and conflicts
- Support the preparation of presentations and project documentation
- Contribute to quality assurance practices throughout the design process
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a relevant field
- 10 years of experience in a design coordination or related role
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve
- A collaborative team player who can work across various disciplines
- Knowledge of construction processes
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a relevant field
