Role summary
KBR is seeking Static Technicians at all levels (I, II, and III) to work in the oil and gas sector. Employees provide technical services and maintenance according to SATORP procedures and guidelines with strict compliance to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications from Supervisor and perform work
- Use right tools and equipment for the job and operate specialized heavy-duty tools from Central tool room
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine
- Perform all installation and maintenance works as per SATORP procedures and guidelines
- Carry out necessary testing such as hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
- Receive necessary work permits before starting work
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards
- Consult with Supervisor for any technical issues
- Perform good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs
- Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements
- Comply with all safety, health and environment standards and procedures
- Report all near misses, unsafe conditions and acts
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance
- Diploma in relevant field
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities
