Role summary
KBR is seeking a Static Technician to maintain static equipment and piping systems in good condition, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of static equipment and process piping systems.
Responsibilities
- Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications from Supervisor and perform work
- Lead a team of Technicians
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for the job and operate heavy duty specialized tools from Central tool room
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine
- Perform all installation and maintenance works per SATORP procedures and guidelines
- Carry out necessary testing including Hydro and Pneumatic testing
- Receive necessary work permits before starting work
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards
- Consult with Supervisor regarding any technical issues
- Perform good housekeeping during and after job completion
- Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule per company standards and requirements
- Comply with all Safety, Health and Environment standards and procedures
- Report all Near misses, unsafe conditions and acts
- Attend Safety and Technical training as scheduled
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with High School diploma
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma certificate
- Hold valid certification from recognized third-party certification body or accredited Saudi institute attesting to qualifications and competency
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
