Role summary
KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician I to work in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role requires leading and supervising daily instrument maintenance activities across all systems, equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, and coordinating a team of technicians.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and coordinate daily activities of instrument maintenance performed by technicians on all instrument systems, plant equipment and facilities within designated area
- Serve as focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution plan
- Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during instrument maintenance activities
- Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and monitor technicians engaged in routine maintenance
- Lead technicians assigned to designated area
- Receive work directions from instrument foreman and translate directions into actionable steps
- Follow up on instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports with recommendations to foreman
- Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports
- Work closely with instrument foreman to recommend and implement improvements to availability and reliability of instrument systems
- Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment
- Enforce policies, procedures and regulations ensuring all safety measures are strictly followed during onsite maintenance
- Maintain proactive safety aptitude and behavior
- Ensure personnel have requisite skills, training and all necessary resources, equipment and tools for safe and effective routine maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with High School certification
- Minimum 4 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma certification
- Hold valid certification from recognized third-party certification body or accredited Saudi institute
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations
- Maturity of judgment under pressure with ability to resolve problems
- Strategic management skills
- Ability to achieve business results in multi-cultural environment
- Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems
- Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures
- Strong knowledge of standards, procedures and regulations for Health, Safety and Environmental preservation
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Synergic and capable of handling multiple tasks
- Good command of oral and written English

Experience
