Role summary
Lucid is seeking an experienced PDR Repair Technician to diagnose and repair electric vehicles using cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and expertly perform diagnostic testing on Lucid Motors' all-electric vehicles
- Perform Body repairs to achieve a high level of quality that meets Lucid standards
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles when needed, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the vehicle and the workstation
- Provide engineering teams with comprehensive failure analysis
- Participate in ongoing skill development to further your technical expertise
- Contribute towards the development of repair procedures
- Train others on repair procedures
- Use a variety of hand and power tools with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Learn and gain proficiency on new technologies
- Document repair activities electronically using a variety of systems, if needed
- Assist in identifying and correcting the cause of problems by partnering with crossfunctional teams in a collaborative environment
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment, as required and maintain a clean environment
- Ability to read and interpret automotive harness / circuit diagrams
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic IT literacy
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
2–5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair
Skills
- Ability to work at the pace required while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle
- Ability to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 22 Kilos
- Ability to use heavy shop equipment (hoists, lifts, lifting tables) safely
- Ability to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal
- Available to work overtime, off-shifts or weekends, as needed
