Role summary
The Supervisor, Material Planning supports the Logistics team in overseeing the end-to-end execution of in-plant logistics activities, including truck park area, dock, internal and external warehouses, market place, and manufacturing lineside locations. This role assists in warehouse and packaging operations, dock management, and ensures seamless delivery of parts to production lines to avoid any loss of production targets. The role helps drive cost and time-effective lean storage and movement of goods, maintaining high standards of safety, service, and compliance. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize service levels, reduce costs, and support business growth
- Oversee logistics planning for inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics, ensuring timely and accurate execution
