Role summary
Execute small-scale maintenance and modification projects within the landside areas, ensuring timely completion, compliance with safety and legal requirements, and minimal disruption to public areas and landside facilities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders during budget approval and ensure necessary resources for landside projects
- Oversee daily execution of landside projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards, conducting regular site inspections
- Coordinate with internal departments such as terminal management and parking services to align project timelines with operational needs
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality work and compliance with all project requirements
- Coordinate project technical submittals with engineering team and issue necessary work permits
- Review and approve contractor invoices in line with deliverables and payment terms
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented and documented
- Apply Dammam airports change management procedures for any variation orders, securing approvals from stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety reports, quality records, and project progress updates
- Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency in project execution
- Ensure proper archiving of all project records in Dammam airports database, including final reports and documentation
- Ensure project closeout activities, including submission of warranties, performance bonds, and other necessary documentation
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes with stakeholders to ensure full operational readiness
- Lead project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and conflict resolution
- Foster a collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement among team members
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycle to ensure their requirements are met
- Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations to avoid disruptions in landside operations
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are maintained
- Monitor and manage risks throughout project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on landside operations
- Work closely with team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning to enhance project execution
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry trends, improving skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of project management techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 4 years of experience in project management, preferably airport projects management experience
