Role summary
Providing fire and rescue services within airport boundaries in compliance with General Authority of Civil Aviation regulations. Supervise assigned fire truck and crew during emergencies to ensure effective response and protect lives and property.
Responsibilities
- Direct field supervision of assigned crew and fire vehicle, ensuring full operational readiness at all times
- Respond to all aviation and ground emergency situations, including aircraft fires, collisions, and hazardous material spills
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures in the Airport Fire and Rescue Services Operating Manual
- Supervise assigned fire and rescue truck operation, coordinating its effective use during emergency missions
- Execute search and rescue operations, providing first aid at incident site until specialized medical support arrives
- Execute firefighting tasks using suitable extinguishing agents for specific fire types, ensuring constant readiness on board
- Conduct daily detailed inspections of fire truck and equipment, including auxiliary operating systems, ensuring full supply
- Adhere to daily shift system, remaining prepared to respond immediately to callouts outside regular working hours
- Apply and direct general safety procedures during vehicle operation and movement inside and outside airport boundaries
- Participate in approved theoretical and practical training as part of annual training plan
- Contribute to team performance development through continuous training and reinforcing operational safety protocol adherence
- Represent vehicle and crew within airport emergency framework, coordinating fully with relevant entities during emergencies
- Comply with all regulations and instructions from General Authority of Civil Aviation and Matarat Holding Company
- Maintain physical and health fitness levels suitable for work nature per occupational health and safety requirements
- Perform additional related tasks assigned by direct manager within airport fire and rescue service scope
