Role summary
Develops and maintains standardized procurement policies and processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. Ensures governance structures are in place, drives process improvement initiatives, and supports strategic decision-making through data insights. Oversees effective communication, implementation, and training on new policies and processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creation, review, and standardization of procurement policies, procedures, and processes for strategic alignment
- Establish governance frameworks for policy approval, updates, and enforcement
- Identify and address gaps in existing processes using data analytics and best practices
- Use data insights to identify process improvement areas and recommend innovative solutions
- Monitor impact of policy and process changes on operational efficiency and compliance
- Support completion of audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established policies
- Drive implementation of standardized policies through effective communication and training programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policy compliance and organizational objective adherence
- Work closely with Learning and Development teams to design and deliver targeted training programs
- Foster collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in policy governance, process management, or similar roles in large-scale projects such as construction, real estate, or urban development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Business, or related fields
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify process gaps and propose solutions
- Experience working in cross-collaborative environments ensuring differing goals align with organizational strategy
- Fluency in English required with Arabic proficiency highly desirable
- Understanding of local cultural and business landscape in Saudi Arabia through regional work experience preferred
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Business, or related fields
