Role summary
Responsible for managing and overseeing security strategies and programs across the Master Developer portfolio relating to City Security Planning and Place Planning and Design. The successful candidate will work in close coordination with the District Master Developer and Place, Planning & Design team to deliver Qiddiya City Security strategy: an open yet secure city benchmarked globally for safety and security in the 21st Century.
Responsibilities
- Security master-planning across Districts and overall City masterplan coordination
- Balancing adjacencies of uses and security requirements with Place outcomes
- Reviewing Place characters at security moments and elements in the masterplan
- Custodianship of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principles through masterplan evolution
- Encouraging innovative security measures incorporating technology with strategically placed landscape and hardscape components including furniture, art, earth mounding, and water
- General advisory and oversight of security outputs by development consultants and specialist experts
- Applying built environment risk management knowledge, tools, standards, and processes
- Enhancing and maintaining dashboards, trackers, and performance frameworks for executive reporting
- Providing presentation support for briefing materials and stakeholder packs for Project Control Groups and governance committees
- Assisting in shaping policies, standards, and risk frameworks through research and documentation
- Streamlining planning workflows across multidisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency
- Maintaining and enhancing organizational tools including task trackers and dashboards
- Leading initiatives to expand the team's advisory capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in built-environment security
- Experience in relevant infrastructure delivery sectors, government, and high-profile development projects in KSA
- Demonstrated ability to perform within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience tracking large-scale project dependencies
- Experienced in advising diverse government and multinational stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication
Requirements
- Proficiency in Aconex, BIM360, SharePoint, and reporting/dashboarding tools
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in built-environment security, relevant infrastructure delivery sectors, government, and high-profile development projects in KSA
