Role summary
Serves as the strategic IT lead for Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio, acting as the primary liaison between business leadership and technology teams. Responsible for driving technology demand management, portfolio governance, roadmap development, and operational readiness across Motorsport assets, ensuring technology investments align with business objectives, asset strategies, and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary IT relationship owner for Motorsport business leadership
- Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps
- Build trusted relationships with asset executives, operators, consultants, and delivery partners
- Ensure technology decisions support business outcomes and operational objectives
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and executive alignment
- Own the Motorsport demand intake process
- Evaluate, prioritize, and govern business requests
- Lead capability mapping and solution assessment activities
- Develop multi-year Motorsport technology roadmaps
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements
- Identify opportunities for platform reuse, standardization, and innovation
- Drive emerging technology adoption in: smart venues, race operations, fan engagement, digital ticketing, sports analytics, IoT and operational technology systems
- Lead IT readiness assessments for new Motorsport assets
- Define technology mobilization plans
- Coordinate technology requirements with operators and business users
- Ensure technology readiness before asset opening and major events
- Track dependencies across supporting facilities and core assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or related field
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or Business Relationship Management
- At least 5 years in leadership role managing technology portfolios, strategic roadmaps, and executive stakeholder engagement within complex, large-scale environments
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or related field; Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or Business Relationship Management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing technology portfolios, strategic roadmaps, and executive stakeholder engagement within complex, large-scale environments
