Role summary
Qiddiya Investment Company is the strategic holding and development entity behind Qiddiya, leading large-scale entertainment, sports, and culture projects in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a central role in guiding planning and design strategy across a complex portfolio of projects. The role focuses on driving alignment between vision, design quality, commercial practicality, and long-term development objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support development of Planning and Design strategy to achieve organizational objectives
- Participate in developing and enforcing design policies, processes, procedures, and controls
- Assist in preparing Place, Planning and Design budget to support effective delivery
- Lead development and implementation of design guidelines across portfolio projects
- Support development teams across project design and construction, including design direction, review, and internal specification processes
- Oversee design process coordination among multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure master plan alignment
- Organize, track, and monitor multiple project design packages to deliver consistent and efficient solutions
- Ensure design solutions are commercially viable and compliant with applicable rules and regulations
- Manage design processes from land acquisition through planning and detailed design approvals to meet agreed plans and targets
- Ensure projects align with the approved master plan and take corrective action when needed
- Lead team performance by setting objectives, managing performance, and developing team capability
- Provide direction, mentoring, coaching, and growth opportunities to strengthen and motivate the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with large mixed-use destination developments
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience ensuring master plan compliance across large portfolio projects
Education
Bachelor's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus)
