Role summary
Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the transformation of the entertainment and cultural landscape in Saudi Arabia. We seek an experienced Senior Manager - Infrastructure Planning to join our team. You will develop and implement infrastructure planning strategies essential to successful execution of our ambitious projects. Your leadership will guide the planning process, ensuring all infrastructure initiatives align with Qiddiya's overarching vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of strategic infrastructure planning initiatives, integrating them into Qiddiya's broader development framework
- Conduct detailed analyses of current infrastructure systems and identify enhancement opportunities to support project goals
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to create comprehensive project plans, ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards
- Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and design teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution of infrastructure projects
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communication, fostering strong relationships with external agencies, consultants, and community partners
- Oversee preparation of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans to support informed decision-making
- Monitor infrastructure planning progress, providing timely updates and recommendations for improvements to senior management
- Encourage and mentor team members, promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure planning or project management, particularly for large-scale developments
- Thorough understanding of planning principles, regulatory frameworks, and construction processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and data
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in using planning and project management software
- Professional certifications in project or infrastructure management (e.g., PMP) are a plus
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
Experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure planning or project management, particularly for large-scale developments
