Role summary

We seek an experienced and visionary Senior Manager – Strategic Supplier Relationship Management to lead and elevate the SRM function. This senior leadership role oversees the strategic direction, execution, and continuous improvement of the SRM program, fostering innovation, resilience, and value creation across the supply chain network. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in managing complex supplier ecosystems and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion enterprise-wide SRM strategy aligned with corporate objectives and Vision 2030 goals
- Provide thought leadership on supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks at senior executive levels
- Drive cultural transformation to embed strategic SRM practices throughout the organization
- Lead design, implementation, and evolution of SRM frameworks, policies, and tools
- Oversee supplier segmentation, risk assessments, performance measurement, and business continuity planning
- Ensure integration of SRM initiatives with procurement, risk, legal, finance, and operational functions
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers to drive innovation and mutual value
- Guide cross-functional teams in executing joint business plans and strategic initiatives with key suppliers
- Address complex supplier performance, risk, and compliance issues with balanced leadership
- Facilitate executive forums such as Quarterly Business Reviews and SRM steering committees
- Influence and advise senior leaders to adopt consistent SRM governance models and decision frameworks
- Champion transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across the supplier ecosystem
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SRM team fostering collaboration and professional growth
- Promote skill development initiatives and succession planning within the team
- Drive initiatives leveraging supplier partnerships to deliver cost efficiencies, service excellence, and sustainability benefits
- Champion ESG and digital transformation efforts aligned with organizational strategy
Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience including strategic supplier relationship management, procurement, supply chain management, or related fields in complex and multinational environments
- Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
- Relevant professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM are highly desirable
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and suppliers at executive levels
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience in giga projects or large-scale developments is an advantage
Education
Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline)
