Role summary
We seek a Junior Field Specialist to support senior field specialists in delivering high-quality services to clients. The role requires a clear understanding of proposed work scope and requirements through coordination with client representatives to execute jobs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Understand proposed work scope and requirements by coordinating with client representative
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals when required based on client information
- Ensure all required information, machinery, equipment, service tooling and spare parts are available at worksites
- Record critical information concerning bottom hole assembly including lengths, ODs, IDs, ball seat sizes and configuration settings
- Conduct risk assessments considering QHSE requirements and implement controls to mitigate identified risks
- Make up bottom hole assemblies per client specifications and ensure safe working practices
- Perform periodic checks on downhole machinery, equipment and tools at work sites
- Collaborate with worksite personnel to ensure job requirements adherence and operational compliance
- Account for all machinery, equipment, service tooling and spare parts and ensure safe backloading
- Conduct post-job debriefing meetings to report feedback on safety, equipment and service delivery
- Act as focal point providing technical expertise to onshore and offshore personnel
- Perform ad-hoc duties related to the job as assigned by Direct Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Engineering, Environmental Science or Agriculture
- Prior experience in fieldwork or similar role is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to field locations as required
