Role summary
We are seeking an experienced Piping Construction Engineer with active Saudi Aramco approval to oversee the execution, installation, and testing of piping systems for a major EPC project. The successful candidate will ensure that all site construction activities strictly adhere to project specifications, Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), and international codes (ASME, API). This role requires strong field leadership, technical problem-solving, and seamless coordination with QA/QC, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the daily field installation of above-ground and underground piping systems
- Install carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and non-metallic (GRE/FRP) piping
- Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping layouts, material take-offs (MTOs), and 3D models (Navisworks)
- Resolve constructability issues prior to execution
- Ensure all piping construction complies with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS) and international codes (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API)
- Work closely with the QA/QC department to implement the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
- Coordinate NDT activities (RT, PT, MT, UT) and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Oversee mechanical completion activities, prepare and review hydrotest/pneumatic test packages
- Supervise flushing, blowing, and testing operations
- Monitor subcontractor productivity and ensure safe work practices
- Verify that manpower and equipment are utilized efficiently to meet project milestones
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, track weld rejection rates
- Flag schedule delays or technical deviations to the Construction Manager
Qualifications
- Active Saudi Aramco approval
- Experienced in piping construction engineering

Bachelor's degree
Skills
