Role summary
We are seeking a Junior Mud Logger to join our team and assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of drilling data to ensure the successful operation of oil and gas wells.
Responsibilities
- Monitor drilling parameters and collect data during drilling operations
- Analyze samples of drilled cuttings and fluids to identify potential issues and ensure wellbore stability
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports detailing drilling progress and findings
- Coordinate with the drilling team to optimize drilling performance and troubleshoot any challenges
- Maintain accurate records of all drilling activities and data collected
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work long hours in remote locations as needed
