Role summary
Support the development and monitoring of Riyad Bank corporate strategy and ensure development of a corporate level integrated business plan that translates the Strategy into clear Targets and Initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of an enterprise-wide strategy and ensure translation into a cohesive set of executable initiatives
- Accountable for the management of the bank business plan and alignment with ePMO
- Monitor the progress of aspiration targets to ensure achievement of strategy targets
- Accountable for the management and improvement of the strategy delivery lifecycle including the pre-project business case process
- Enforce continuous improvements of bank strategy
- Accountable for updates to the transformation and strategy steering committee
- Oversee Riyad Bank targets and strategic initiatives progress
- Provide management support and guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads
- Provide market insights and research on the banking industry
- Act as a custodian of the bank overall strategy
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures, timely and cost-effective execution of all initiatives
- Ensure that lessons learned are stored and improvements made from these into the methodologies
- Provide timely and accurate bank-wide Steering Committee reports to meet bank and department requirements, policies and standards
- Ensure all staff have clear objectives and regular performance feedback sessions
- Conduct formal annual appraisals and individual development plans
- Emphasize the development of talented Saudi national staff
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls
- Guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
- Undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed by the Bank
