Role summary
Manage, facilitate, control and support smooth and accurate execution of Bank projects according to approved Riyadh Bank Project Management Methodology, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met within budget and timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions for controlled and consistent work execution
- Implement day-to-day operations assigned to EPMO to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Develop project scope, approach, project charter and plan; conduct post implementation reviews with functional areas
- Ensure streamlined execution of managed projects by leading delivery, scope, timelines and budget
- Manage time, cost, resource and risk management and vendor relationships across managed projects
- Manage, track and report on project plan health, change control, issues and risks; maintain regular stakeholder communication
- Direct liaison with stakeholders across functional areas for initiative development and prioritization support
- Ensure compliance with EPMO standards and processes in assigned projects through all lifecycle stages
- Create all project documents using agreed EPMO templates; mobilize project team during initiation
- Ensure all business unit and vendor deliverables are high quality and align with stakeholder expectations
- Liaise with stakeholders across business units to develop and prioritize initiatives; provide regular reports
- Proactively manage project task and activity timelines for milestone completion and critical path management
- Manage assigned time of EPMO Business Analysts; train them in PM tools and techniques
- Monitor execution progress of project team tasks against timeline and scope for acceptance or deviation confirmation
- Track and report project progress; assume ownership for issue resolution and escalate complex problems
- Monitor actual costs against budget; provide analytical information to Project Steering Committee and EPMO
- Manage external vendors or internal developers to achieve agreed project outcomes and scope
- Review and evaluate submitted project deliverables for completeness and work objective alignment
- Prepare presentations to Project Steering Committee on project development, costs and identified issues
- Review vendor invoices, assess deliverables and authorize payment or rejection
- Contribute to identifying continuous improvement opportunities for processes and practices
- Prepare timely and accurate progress reports meeting company and department standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality and environmental management policies and procedures
- Undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed by the Bank
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or suitable equivalent degree
- Post-graduate level degree preferred
