Role summary
Facilitate accurate and smooth implementation of programs relevant to the assigned division and act as liaison between Project Managers and program sponsor for clear and continuous information exchange supporting efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Support Head of EPMO in developing enterprise-wide strategy and ensure translation of strategy into cohesive initiatives executable by Bank within capacity limits
- Support ongoing program alignment within assigned Division during development and monitoring of projects and programs ensuring support for Bank strategic goals achievement
- Assist Head of EPMO in transforming EPMO function from current maturity level to target maturity level by advocating project management rigor as defined by Project Delivery Framework
- Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions ensuring controlled and consistent work execution
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy to Head of Governance, Policy & Quality Assurance and direct implementation of procedures and controls covering all EPMO activity areas ensuring fulfillment of procedural requirements
- Ensure Project Manager alignment with Project Delivery Framework including PCD, BC, and project artefacts
- Recommend updates to project and program management tools and templates to Head of Governance, Policy & Quality Assurance as required
- Conduct quality assurance on project-related deliverables for each Project Manager working in assigned Division
- Provide support to relevant Division in benefits realization management and correction of underperforming projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Business
- International project management certification such as PMP or PMI
