Role summary
Drive sustainable finance at Riyad Bank including working with business divisions to promote sustainable finance products, upskill all levels, and represent the bank externally across the ESG and sustainability ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee sustainability departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions
- Follow day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure work continuity
- Support Sustainable Finance Lead, Senior Leaders and Initiative owners on implementation
- Engage with business units and support functions to ensure alignment with ESG goals
- Participate in establishing effective routines to integrate projects and identify issues early
- Support ESG team to overcome performance challenges and progress barriers
- Assist in tracking progress against financial and non-financial commitments
- Support building ESG organizational capability focused on Sustainable Finance
- Engage and connect across the organization leveraging change agent networks
- Assist in leading operating model and governance change of the ESG vision
- Ensure proper support for ESG governance and establish clear working rhythm
- Ensure understanding of external stakeholder expectations and represent internally
- Participate in representing the bank in external networks to strengthen reputation
- Support deal teams on origination and execution of sustainable finance deals
- Develop marketing materials for bank sustainable finance offerings
- Continue innovations in new sustainable finance products and structures
- Develop and execute process guidance and resourcing for sustainable finance work
- Collaborate with bank ERM Department on climate risks and opportunities
- Contribute to identification of process and practice improvement opportunities
- Assist in preparation of timely and accurate reports for company requirements
- Comply with all safety, quality and environmental management policies
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Sustainability related field or Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Energy related field

Bachelor's degree in Sustainability related field or Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Energy related field
Experience
4-6 years of relevant experience in Sustainable Finance or Investment, majority in banking environment
