Role summary
Execute van sales calls per journey plan to meet sales targets by selling all SKUs to customers and ensuring product availability, visibility, and replenishment.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated journey plans ensuring no call exceptions or non-buying customers
- Develop and refine routes by informing sales supervisor of new and closed outlets
- Provide customers with suggested orders maximizing SKU availability in outlets
- Record accurate stock of all relevant SKUs at each outlet
- Display products per merchandising policy to increase shelf space and sales
- Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of company assets with zero tolerance for non-SADAFCO products
- Immediately report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Report any customer misuse of assets to sales supervisor
- Display point of sale materials per company policy
- Deliver invoices to customers and collect payment per invoice
- Ensure all temporary credit invoices are collected per credit policy
- Ensure all temporary credit invoices are properly filed with relevant supervisor
- Ensure correct vehicle loading to maximize sales while avoiding excess or stockout situations
- Review and sign returned products from stores
- Reconcile returned products with storekeeper per company policy
- Review and sign documents after checking returned goods per company policy
- Reconcile good returns with storekeepers and sign relevant documents
- Manage store stock to avoid bad returns and damaged products
- Complete all sales administrative work correctly and on time
- Ensure daily collections are promptly deposited with cashier
- Complete daily mobile sales force application endorsement with supervisor after market return
- Discuss market development opportunities
- Review sales achievement against targets
- Review key performance indicators and agree on next steps
- Maintain designated vehicle cleanliness inside and outside
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming per company standards
- Maintain professional behavior at all times representing SADAFCO
