Role summary
As a Manager Powerplant Genx, you will oversee operational efficiency of the powerplant, focusing on GE Genx engines. You will lead a team ensuring proper maintenance, repair, and engine performance to meet organizational operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily powerplant operations focusing on GE Genx engines
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures
- Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as needed
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives
- Lead engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective powerplant operation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree is advantageous
- Previous experience in similar role, preferably with GE Genx engines
- Strong knowledge of powerplant operations and maintenance best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and performance metrics for decision-making
- Certification in relevant areas such as powerplant operations or maintenance
