Role summary
A Manager, Vendor Management to oversee and manage relationships with external vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods and services
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Monitor vendor performance and address issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate vendor needs and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards, as well as regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
- Track and report on key vendor performance metrics to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or related roles
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of vendor performance metrics and risk assessment strategies
Requirements
- Certification in procurement or vendor management is a plus
