Role summary
The role holder supports implementation and enhancement of specialized data governance practices, including data architecture, data classification, lifecycle management, Identity and Access Management, and open data activities. The position ensures alignment with NDMO and PDPL requirements, internal governance standards, and stc Group data management directives while contributing to data quality, privacy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of enterprise data architecture aligned with business objectives and stc Group data management standards
- Monitor and track KPIs related to NDMO and PDPL domain maturity, identify gaps and support improvement actions
- Contribute to implementation and maintenance of IAM framework, policies, and controls
- Implement data governance policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with stc Group directives and regulatory requirements
- Maintain data governance policies, procedures, and documentation in centralized repositories for accuracy and accessibility
- Support implementation of data classification and lifecycle management practices covering retention, archival, and secure disposal
- Execute and coordinate open data management activities including dataset identification, preparation, publication, and updates
- Conduct quality reviews of published open data and associated metadata for accuracy, completeness, and relevance
- Monitor open data activities and apply privacy and data protection controls aligned with national classification requirements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support open data publication priorities and organizational transparency objectives
- Support data governance and open data awareness initiatives with stakeholders and the Data Governance Council
- Identify opportunities to enhance data governance practices based on regulatory developments and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Management, Cybersecurity, or related field
