Role summary
The role holder is responsible for supporting and executing Commercial Excellence activities across Specialized, with a focus on commercial performance analysis, pricing and profitability, sales enablement, operational quality, and business resilience. The role analyzes commercial and product performance, supports sales effectiveness, contributes to commercial governance and improvement initiatives, and coordinates with relevant stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial and sales performance data to identify opportunities for pricing optimization, margin improvement, product viability, and overall commercial performance enhancement
- Conduct product-level financial assessments and profitability analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support product portfolio performance
- Support pricing and discount management activities, ensuring accurate application and adherence to approved pricing governance and commercial guidelines
- Develop sales enablement materials based on product economics and commercial insights, including brochures, demonstrations, and supporting commercial content in coordination with Marketing & Communications
- Develop and enhance customer onboarding materials to support effective understanding and utilization of Mission-Critical and Business-Critical services
- Support sales effectiveness initiatives through performance analysis, KPI monitoring, training, and development of tools and materials that enhance the sales process from lead generation to deal closure
- Contribute to the assessment of strategic partnerships and commercial terms, providing analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives and performance requirements
- Support the development and update of quality-related policies, procedures, and standards applicable to sales excellence and commercial operations
- Conduct commercial risk assessments and support scenario testing, contingency planning, and business continuity activities to enhance the resilience of critical commercial processes
- Monitor commercial activities and performance, identify operational risks and improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to management
- Coordinate special Commercial Sector projects and initiatives with relevant internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective follow-up and execution
- Participate in reviews and assessments of commercial processes, including pricing, discounting, sales performance, and customer onboarding, and follow up on identified corrective actions
