Role summary
Mechanical technician responsible for providing ongoing support to field maintenance staff, contractors, vendors and other personnel in planning, repairing and installing various mechanical equipment to ensure all maintenance objectives are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and troubleshooting activities
- Provide technical support to resolve maintenance and operational issues
- Maintain maintenance records, systems, and documentation
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and turnaround activities
- Coordinate with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma in mechanical or equivalent
- 3-5 years or above experience working as mechanical technician in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas sectors

- Basic Knowledge of Booster/Primary Compressor
- Basic Knowledge of Hyper Compressor
- Basic Knowledge in System Administrative Program (SAP)
- High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently complete tasks to a high standard
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
