Role summary
An exciting opportunity is available for Business Planning Engineer in Jubail. The engineer manages inventory, contract review, communication with customers, suppliers and government authorities, third-party coordination, annual production plan and monthly forecasts, price calculations, and management presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint with proficiency in Excel and department database management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare forecasts in coordination with raw material and utilities suppliers and olefins buyers on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal capacity planning
- Coordinate and liaise with Government Departments, private parties and neighboring companies regarding raw materials, feedstock supplies, utilities and forecast of business requirements
- Update department database and master sheets on production, consumption, sales and other performance indicators on daily, weekly and monthly basis and communicate regularly with other department users
- Prepare and review prices with pipeline sales quantity for month-end closing
- Prepare and review Supply Agreements for Utilities, Raw Material and pipeline sales
- Develop and monitor the Economic model and olefin inventory management to facilitate decision-making by TASNEE's management for overall profitability
- Support plant with tolling forecast and coordinate with all parties
- Work with other team members to prepare high-level management presentations, charts, reports and analysis as requested by department per priority
- Participate on rotation basis with other team members in on-call duty and holiday coverage to complete and coordinate emergency and critical tasks
- Perform other duties or assignments as directed
- Propose annual business plan contributions to management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products and services, and responsible environmental attitude

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum four years of related experience, preferably within petrochemical industry
