Role summary
Carries out complex electrical maintenance services on major plants and equipment. Practical, applied and highly authoritative knowledge of specialized methods and processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop procedures, preventive maintenance, fault reports to maintain optimum electrical activities and equipment capabilities
- Fault finding and diagnosis of critical and complex electrical equipment promptly with optimal solutions
- Provide input into department and functional policies and procedures aligned with company objectives
- Maintain high health, safety and environment standards ensuring healthy, safe work environment and practices
- Participate in root cause analysis with inspection and reliability teams for repeated failures or rework cases
- Review material reservations, requisitions and adequacy with relevant functions for all electrical maintenance types
- Provide coaching, guidance, training and support for team members to ensure necessary skills development
- Support execution of routine and preventative electrical equipment maintenance to achieve availability targets
- Install, commission, modify and suggest design changes to electrical systems and equipment per requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, transformers, PLCs and drives
- Maintenance planning and execution
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Safety standards and industrial codes
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with SAP
- Fluency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
