Role summary
Operate higher production machines to perform similar operations or produce similar parts involving more than one or closely related steps. Jobs are frequently of short duration, requiring frequent change in setup. Has limited control over product quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in more than one process equipment with simple troubleshooting where necessary
- Support senior operators in coordinating field activities to ensure continuity of operations
- Verify that equipment across the broader work area is properly prepared for maintenance
- Provide initial interface with maintenance and operations to facilitate work in the process area
- Provide support during emergency response situations in line with standard procedures
- Comply with all relevant quality and HSE procedures to ensure healthy and safe work environment
- Ensure safety of colleagues through observing their activities and providing advice to minimize accidents
- Participate in training to ensure standards of performance are achieved
