Role summary
An exciting opportunity is available for Instrument Technician located in Jubail. The Instrument Technician oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Must be proficient in instrumentation skills related to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance of instrument equipment
- Issue and close work permits
- Troubleshoot and repair instrument equipment
- Apply knowledge of SAP for closing and updating assigned work orders
- Assume leadership tasks as lead technician when required
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment regulations and guidelines to ensure safe working environment
- Review preventive maintenance procedures for all assigned equipment
- Utilize hard communicator or transmitter calibration
- Apply knowledge of SIL testing
- Apply knowledge of PLC
Qualifications
- Diploma in instrumentation or equivalent
Requirements
- Minimum six years of experience working as Instrument Technician in Petrochemical, Oil and Gas sectors
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in instrumentation and control systems
- High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently complete tasks to high standard
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
Education
Diploma in instrumentation or equivalent
Experience
Minimum six years of experience as Instrument Technician in Petrochemical, Oil and Gas sectors
