Role summary
Equipment initial maintenance evaluation, inspection, repair and maintenance of customer equipment. Diagnose equipment failure problems. Support assembly and manufacturing efforts under Service & Repair Center Manager direction. Troubleshoot, solve problems and deliver service on time.
Responsibilities
- Always operate safely and ensure repairs and maintenance are performed swiftly, diligently and safely while actively participating in a safe work environment and HSE culture including training, safety observations and daily safety meetings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and regular upkeep of various shop tools
- Report and schedule equipment needing regular maintenance or repair, creating repair lists for Service & Repair Center Manager review
- Execute approved repair lists to the highest standard possible
- Correctly diagnose equipment failure problems and apply proper repair procedures
- Dismantle and reassemble pumps and repair heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
- Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly for proper performance and manufacturer specification compliance
- Perform administrative duties reporting work updates in applicable systems and reconcile post job resources
- Maintain a clean work area and care for hand tools
- Participate in failure investigations when relevant
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of well service equipment desired but not essential
- Knowledge of pumping equipment
- Technical mechanical skills
- Forklift driving license preferred
- Welding experience desired but not essential
- Arabic language skills desirable
- English language skills essential
