Role summary
Currently seeking IS&T infrastructure support candidates for Ar Rjum project. This camp-based role provides frontline deskside, local network and general IS&T support for project team at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns and expedite actions in accurate, effective and timely manner
- Maintain, diagnose and resolve local IT Infrastructure, hardware and software related issues
- Support laptop computer hardware and peripherals, mobile device management, networking equipment, video conferencing, office printing equipment
- Support project automation strategy by installing and maintaining software from approved company and project standards suite
- Work with construction automation to support project systems reporting, data integration and work process improvements
- Deploy and provide end-user hardware and IT services to project personnel
- Follow standard operating procedures for IT requests, asset management practices, incidents and end-user support services
- Assist and participate in implementation and support of new technologies, services and security remediations
- Assist in IS&T equipment procurement process
Qualifications
- Industry experience with recognised STEM-related degree and 1-2 years experience
- Specialised courses in Information Systems, Engineering, Construction, or related fields
- Work experience in STEM-related field with 5-6 years industry experience
Requirements
- Eager to learn broad array of general IS&T skills in infrastructure, networking and general applications support
- Flexibility to travel and work in remote construction site location
- Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of variety of factors
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Build productive and collaborative internal and external working relationships
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 operating system
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Experience identifying, documenting and communicating changes with cost or schedule impact
- Knowledge of satellite and microwave communication technologies, radio systems and call group management
- Knowledge of site access control and construction webcam support
Education
Recognised degree in STEM-related field or specialised courses in Information Systems, Engineering, Construction, or related fields
Experience
1-2 years industry experience with recognised STEM-related degree, or 5-6 years industry experience in STEM-related field
