Role summary
The Senior Manager – Entertainment Strategy plays a key role in shaping the strategic development of Qiddiya's entertainment assets, supporting the Associate Director in defining and delivering the long-term vision for the entertainment portfolio. The role is responsible for leading the early planning and concept development of new entertainment destinations, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic objectives, guest experience ambitions, and commercial targets.
Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Director of Entertainment Strategy in executing the overarching entertainment asset class strategies
- Ensure achievement of portfolio and assets' ambition, vision and objectives
- Manage early design stages of development including ideation, pre-concept and concept
- Contribute to all stages of development of new entertainment assets
- Ensure alignment with Qiddiya's entertainment offering and financial targets
- Develop project documentation for distribution including Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Develop Scope of Work (SOW) and related documentation
- Develop programmes and strategy briefs
- Develop various project matrices
- Manage consultants and collaborate with IP licensors where relevant
- Collaborate with other third parties to ensure insights and recommendations are aligned
- Ensure alignment with overall scope of work and engagement objectives
- Ensure alignment with business expectations
- Conduct analysis and research on entertainment asset benchmarks such as theme parks
- Conduct research on family entertainment centres
- Conduct research on strategic topics to support decision-making
- Contribute to development of initial go-live strategies including operating models
- Develop pricing strategies for initial launch
- Develop sales and marketing strategies for initial launch
- Develop manpower planning for initial launch
- Provide implementation support to other functions within Qiddiya
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver materials for external stakeholders
- Ensure alignment and secure approvals
- Effectively communicate entertainment asset designs and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields
